The Telecommunications Department of the Colville Confederated Tribes provides traditional wired voice service to the Tribal Government Departments, Enterprises, Indian Health Services and Bureau of Indian Affairs throughout the reservation.
Our future goal is to migrate to Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). This technology allows you to make voice calls using a broadband Internet connection.
Telecommunications also staffs Two-Way Radio Technicians. We support services to public safety agencies, government entities, fire management and tribal government departments. Each of these sectors has a different set of needs and priorities, we work together to support the most reliable and efficient equipment and systems.
Radio over Internet Protocol (RoIP) is a technology we are now implementing.
